Huddersfield, the home of the world's finest worsted
The company was formed in 1989 as a commission weaver to the industry and was based in Huddersfield to service the Fine Worsted Industry of the area.
We started with 15 employees with an investment of £1.5M. We quickly developed by using state-of-the-art machinery and the latest computerisation to give the ultimate control of our business for the benefit of our customers. By 1996 we had moved into our second, brand new building, consisting of 57,000 sq feet that was fully air-conditioned. Fifty three weaving machines, warping and preparation machinery were put together with further computerisation incorporating the latest barcode and tracking facilities for production and quality at a cost of £10.5M. This was a state-of-the-art world class manufacturing unit employing 150 employees. In 2008 we went through a company restructure and now have 70 employees.
We produce approximately 40,000 metres of fabric per week. Around 30,000 metres of super fine worsted fabric and blends of luxurious fibres with superfine worsted are for our customers in the high value couture market. We produce a further 15,000 metres of fabric for the retail and corporate wear industry, blending such technologies as Lycra and performance fibres.
We have a close relationship and supply our fabrics to HFW Huddersfield fine worsteds Ltd, incorporating names holding Royal warrants such as J&J Minnis and John G Hardy, which are very important companies in high value suitings dealing with all the top Italian, French and Japanese fashion houses such as Prada, Armani, Givenchy Kiton, Lanvin, Boss, Nina Ricci and Chanel, to name but a few.

We have developed a range between 260 to 310 grammes per running metre in all wool, poly wool and poly wool Lycra.
We offer the poly wool Lycra fabrics in a stock-supported range at very competitive prices in black, navy and grey; there are also other colours to complement the range.
We also have an English-designed collection in a range of all-wool fabric construction, from 210 to 320 grammes per running metre and in super fine wool microns from 17 to 21.5 all wool.
We supply Moss, Dewhirst, Slaters, Debaer and Incorporate Wear and two years ago we won the prestigious contract with our top end boutique/couture design for all the fabric for the new British Airways uniform for pilots, stewards, stewardesses and ground staff.

Designed for sports clubs and corporate companies, the garments can carry the name of your club or company, along with a main sponsor or benefactor. In exactly the same way as the club shirt is bought and worn by fans, the Antich Sports Suit promotes your club or company through high-quality corporate clothing.
Years of experience and investment in the very latest weaving technology has allowed us to develop this most unique of products. The weave of the fabric allows us to place a subtle pinstripe into the fabric of the cloth denoting the name or words of your choice. We produce a high-end tailored suit, with the unique brand name running down the pinstripe weave.
For years, the world's top stars and richest people have been having suits made for themselves with unique fabrics and designs. Indeed, as one of the worlds leading fabric manufacturers, we regularly undertake commission weaving of fabrics for some of the highest net worth individuals in the world.
Until now, this individual weaving process would easily cost the client anything up to £10,000, with tailoring cost additional.
We at C&J Antich & Sons have now developed this unique product as a cost-effective fine worsted cloth, allowing these exceptional quality garments to be bought at high street prices.
